The Roots of Capital Conversations
Charles: It really started organically. I was posting my thoughts on LinkedIn, just sharing observations and reflections on what I was seeing. I didn’t think much of it at first—it was a way to put some ideas out there. But then Alan Litt, Principal at MonticelloAM, came across my posts and recognized that my thoughts were resonating with others.
Tom: Alan reached out to both of us and said, “I think you two could really build something meaningful together.” He felt Charles’s insights were valuable and that there was a real appetite for thoughtful commentary. There was a belief that if we combined our viewpoints, we could create a unique space for discussions in the industry.
Capital Conversations started from sharing ideas, and we’d love for you to share yours as well. Let us know what questions or topics you’d like us to touch on in the comment section and we’ll look to provide our insights on it.
Like a great conversation, it goes both ways.
